Terms and conditions

  1. These terms and conditions are part of the treatment agreements between you as a patient and the physiotherapist.

  2. Appointments that cannot be kept must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If cancellations occur within 24 hours before the appointment or are not made, the physiotherapist reserves the right to charge a no-show fee.

  3. The invoices issued by the physiotherapist for fees, costs, or reimbursements must be paid within thirty days after the invoice date. Failure to pay within this period places the patient/client in default starting from the thirty-first day after the invoice date.

  4. Your attending physiotherapist remains fully responsible at all times for the correct management of your medical records, complying with guidelines for physiotherapeutic documentation.

  5. Your attending physiotherapist is always responsible for the correct submission of invoices to your health insurer. If you are not insured for physiotherapy, the patient will always be billed directly for the treatment.

  6. If the patient/client has authorized a direct debit or signed a giro payment order, this will be executed around the twentieth day after the invoice date. If payment is not received within ten days thereafter, the patient/client is in default from the eleventh day after the unsuccessful direct debit or giro payment attempt.

  7. As soon as the patient/client is in default, the physiotherapist is entitled to charge the legal interest on the outstanding principal sum or its remaining balance. Annually, the amount on which interest is calculated is increased by the interest owed for that year.

  8. If the patient/client is in default, the physiotherapist is entitled to undertake collection measures or assign them to third parties. All associated collection costs, including extrajudicial collection expenses, are charged to the patient/client.

  9. We request that you always record your appointments on the appointment cards provided. This prevents unnecessary misunderstandings.

  10. We strive for a maximum waiting time of 5 minutes per appointment. In exceptional circumstances, this may differ, but we will inform you in advance.

  11. You can only verify your physiotherapy coverage yourself through the policy conditions of your supplementary insurance. We take no responsibility for the insurance information available in our practice.

  12. We are interested in your experiences with our physiotherapy practice and therapists. Therefore, our practice participates in a survey measuring your experiences. We kindly ask for your participation.

  13. Your personal data (such as email addresses and treatment details) will never be disclosed to any party without your consent.

  14. For training in the gym, appropriate sports clothing must be worn.

  15. If you train in the gym, we request that you wear clean sports shoes, not the ones worn outside.

  16. The practice provides under-sheets that are changed daily or sooner upon request. You may also bring your own towel for each treatment.

  17. Management accepts no liability for loss or theft of patient property.

  18. Our practice is subject to the Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO), which outlines the rights and obligations of healthcare clients.

  19. Your physiotherapist will explain their working method prior to treatment. If you have any objections, please inform us immediately. Should undesired situations arise, solutions will be sought in consultation with you. Discussions with you remain confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. If you feel that you have not been treated appropriately, you may report this through our complaints procedure.

  20. We offer internships to physiotherapy students. Interns will always introduce themselves clearly. Your physiotherapist may propose treatment by an intern, either independently or jointly. You are free to decide.
